Now in its 13th year Serving Up Wishes is a unique fundraiser that partners Make-A-Wish® Idaho and Boise State University to make wishes come true for Idaho children. Approximately 80 Boise State University student-athletes, representing every NCAA men’s and women’s sport Boise State sponsors, take part in this high-energy fun-filled night full of non-stop entertainment.
During the evening, Boise State student-athletes showcase their many talents to the delight of the event guests. The evening includes a sit down dinner, live auction, and a presentation from a wish child and/or their family highlighting their special wish experience. You will also be treated to a presentation from a wish child and/or their family.
Make-A-Wish grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy. It is the largest wish-granting charity organization in the world, with 62 chapters in the United States and its territories and 35 international affiliates on five continents.
The Idaho chapter is celebrating its 30th year of wish granting and more than 1,200 wishes that have been granted in Idaho. With the help of generous donors and more than 25,000 volunteers, the Make-A-Wish Foundation has granted more than 225,000 wishes to children around the world since 1980, granting a wish every 38 minutes.
