Fourteen-year-old Shayla saddled up for a southwest adventure!  Shayla has loved horses from a very young age and enjoys country music, especially by her favorite artists, Rascal Flatts.  She is also just completing treatments for Ewings Sarcoma.  With treatments behind her, Shayla and her family hopped on a plane headed south for a true cowgirl experience.  While in San Antonio, Shayla’s family stayed at a dude ranch where she was able ride horses on the beach and learn about caring for horses while enjoying the life of living on a real dude ranch!  Every day Shayla could be found out on the grounds galloping around with her new 4-hooved friends.  Shayla and her family had a rip’ roarin’ time and experienced a wish that will not soon be forgotten.
